David C. Rainwater
DDS, MAGD
Dr. Rainwater has been practicing general dentistry in Houston, Texas for over 34 years. His practice philosophy has always been to offer quality dental treatment in a pleasant, comfortable environment and to build lasting relationships with his patients.
Dr. Rainwater offers a number of dental services including: Cosmetic dentistry, Implant dentistry, fixed Bridges, fixed and removable Dentures and Partials, Root Canals, treatment of TMJ disorder and Orofacial pain, as well as the treatment of Snoring and Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Rainwater graduated from The University of Texas School of Dentistry in 1983 and currently practices general dentistry, Orofacial pain, TMJ therapy and Dental Sleep medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Rainwater received his Master of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2012. He received his Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain in 2014 and his Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain in 2015. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, ADA, TDA, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Seattle Study Club Knowledge Bank.
Dr. Rainwater and his wife, Roxanne, have worked together over 23 years, they have 5 grown children, a lovely daughter in law, 5 beautiful grandchildren and a very friendly dog
Dr. Rainwater was recenlty honored as a Top Houston Dentist by H Texas Magazine.

Houston Dentist Receives 2012 Mastership Award from
The Academy of General Dentistry
The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a professional association of more than 37,000 general dentist dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to the public, is pleased to announce that David C. Rainwater, D.D.S., MAGD, of Houston, Texas, received the association’s 2012 Mastership Award during the AGD 2012 Annual Meeting & Exhibits, held June 21 to 24, in Philadelphia.
The Mastership Award is the highest honor available at the AGD and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Rainwater completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education.
As a recipient of the Mastership Award, Dr. Rainwater joins more than 2,300 active AGD Masters who understand that providing great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements.
“We are proud to honor Dr. Rainwater for his commitment to continuing education in his quest to provide quality dental care and oral health education to his patients,” says AGD President Jeffrey M. Cole, DDS, MBA, and FAGD. “There are more than 169,000 general dentists in the United States and Canada and less than two percent of those are Masters with the AGD.
